The Volga Archeology Journal is a serious scientific publication that has been operating since 2012. Its main goal is to study the problems of archeology and related disciplines in the gigantic space of the Volga region, the Urals and the North Caspian region. This macro-region has historically been not just geography, but a real junction of the civilizations of Europe and Asia.
The publication positions itself as an international forum. Experts from different countries publish here: from Finland and Hungary to Kazakhstan and Mongolia. The journal is published quarterly, and the materials are available in two languages - Russian and English.
Main directions
The reconstruction of cultural and historical processes is at the epicenter of research tasks. The authors of the journal try to interpret the large-scale changes that took place in ancient Eurasia. Topics cover:
