About the project

Website ecos-samara. ru is an information platform of the research and production company ECOS. The project positions itself as a resource that combines scientific developments and practical solutions in the field of water supply and sanitation. The history of the company began in 1991, when it was founded by teachers and employees of the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation of the Samara State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering.

The organization is headed by Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Alexander Kuzmich Strelkov. He is a laureate of the Russian government award for a range of works to improve the efficiency of public utility systems in large cities. The company employs highly qualified specialists: three doctors and fourteen candidates of technical and chemical sciences. The permanent team consists of 34 people, plus about 20 part-time employees.

Main directions

The activities of NPF ECOS cover the full cycle of work in the field of water infrastructure. The company is engaged not only in design, but also in construction, commissioning of structures, as well as personnel training and maintenance of housing and communal services systems and industrial enterprises.

Special attention is paid to environmental research. The company carries out work on the purification of natural and waste waters, developing technologies for specific tasks. The list of services includes:

• Development of draft standards for permissible discharges (VAT) into water bodies and sewerage.
• Registration of conditions for water use (WU) and subsoil use (UN).
• Design of sanitary protection zones for water supply sources (SPS) and sanitary protection zones (SPZ).
• Preparation of projects for maximum permissible emissions into the atmosphere (MPE).
• Calculation of waste generation standards and limits on their disposal (PNOOLR).

To implement these tasks, the company structure has design departments, a construction and installation work area, a commissioning group and an environmental regulation department. There is also a research group and expert research chemical and biochemical laboratories.
