About the project

IPK website. aumsu. ru is an information resource of the Institute for Advanced Studies (IPK), which is part of the structure of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education State Medical University named after Admiral F. F. Ushakov. This unit is based in Novorossiysk and positions itself as the largest training institution in Russia, specializing in the training of ship specialists.

The Institute operates in strict accordance with the national requirements of the Russian Federation and international conventions, including MK STCW-78, SOLAS 74, MARPOL 7378 and the ISPS Code. The activities of the center are under the control of the Russian Maritime Administration, and the quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001:2015 under the supervision of the Indian Register of Shipping (IRClass). During its work, more than 100 thousand people were trained.

Main directions

The activities of the institute cover several key areas of personnel training for the maritime fleet, ports and shipping companies. Particular emphasis is placed on practical exercises using real ship equipment.

• Marine training:Modern simulators from the world's leading manufacturer (a company from Russia) are used in the educational process. Among them are Navi-Trainer Professional 5000 navigation systems with 360 visualization and full ship control simulators.
• Safety and Rescue:Students take advanced fire fighting courses, as well as training in the Proficiency on Rescue Boat and Survival Craft course.
• Training of command personnel:Training begins in classrooms, where crew management skills are developed.
• Additional education:There is a Center for Additional Professional Education of Land Vehicle Drivers (CDPO VNTS).

The Institute is also engaged in methodological work: it develops work programs, lists of references, samples of contracts and applications, as well as recommendations for organizing the activities of training centers. The center's teachers are certified; many have academic degrees and experience working directly on ships.

The website offers a distance learning system (DLS), through which users can take courses online. For the convenience of students, detailed instructions for registering in the LMS, the procedure for taking courses and a list of materials prepared by teachers are posted.

In the documents section you can find statutory documents, certificates, licenses, sample certificates, as well as an agreement on the authorization to train crew members of sea vessels. The site contains information about membership in the Global Maritime Education and Training Association and invites you to visit a photo gallery where training complexes and training classes are presented.
