About the project
IT-Planet. orgis a platform for the XVII International Olympiad IT-Planet 2026. The project is positioned as a practice-oriented competition, the purpose of which is to identify and support talented youth in the field of information technology. Participation is open to students and graduates over 16 years of age from any country in the world. The level of accepted participants varies from Junior to Middle.
Competitions are held on our own innovative platform Braim. This allows participants to solve real-life problems without the need to install additional software. The key feature of the Olympiad is that participation is free. The language of the competition is Russian, although the geography of applicants is not limited.
Main directions
The competition program is distinguished by a high density of topics. It is divided into several large blocks, covering both classic IT skills and highly specialized areas.
- Security and infrastructure. Includes competitions on the Postgres Pro DBMS (SQL), administration of the Linux OS (Astra Group Ecosystem), RED OS, as well as the design of information security systems using hardware protection.
- Software development. Here we present the creation of mobile applications for iOSAndroid, web applications based on 1C:Enterprise. Element, application programming (if. else) and development of unmanned aircraft systems.
- Artificial intelligence and data. The direction includes work with Russian neural networks (text and image generation), data analytics on the low-code Loginom platform, as well as a unique Anti-Deepfake competition, where participants develop algorithms to combat synthetic content.
- Social responsibility. The Unlimited Possibilities program is dedicated to the development of digital products for people with disabilities. Separate tracks have been highlighted: assistance to people with visual and hearing impairments, support for injuries to the musculoskeletal system, as well as improving communication for people with disabilities.
- Digital transformation (TerraPolytech 2026). The competition is aimed at digitizing social spaces. Participants work on projects for museums, galleries, urban environments, natural resorts and industrial technology environments.
- SportTechCup. Youth competition in physical sports. Nominations include wearable devices (bio- and neural interfaces), VRAR technologies in sports and e-sports.
In addition, satellite competitions are held: Youth Championship User Cup 2026 (focus on Russian IT solutions) and competitions in 3D design in VR Concept or visualization of ideas on the online Esbord board.
