Kalastusinfo. eeis an information resource closely associated with the Lõuna-Estonian Fishing Club (Lõuna-Eesti Kalastajate Klubi MTÜ). When does the pike fishing season begin?
According to the latest information on the website, pike fishing in the sea, on Lake Võrtsjärv and in inland waters is allowed again from May 1st. On lakes Peipsi, Ilmen and Pskovskoe, the season opens a little later - from May 6.
Is it possible to catch bream in Pärnu Bay in May?
No. From May 1, a ban on bream fishing will be introduced in the Bay of Pärnu (Pärnu County). This ban is valid until May 15, when it is lifted in the sea as a whole, and until July 16 for specific sections of the Pärnu River and the Sauga Stream.
What restrictions apply to tench fishing?
Tench fishing has strict regional restrictions. In the rivers Kunda, Pärnu, Audru and others, bans begin on May 10. In inland waters and Lake Võrtsjärv the ban has been in effect since June 20. However, there are exceptions: fishing is permitted when using a simple hand fishing rod or casting net. The complete ban is lifted only on July 21.
How to obtain a fishing permit?
Applications for a crayfish fishing card begin on July 1st. To do this, you will need to issue the appropriate document through the site system.
