The Khatutik Ethnocenter positions itself as a cultural and educational space created to preserve and disseminate Armenian culture, language and traditions. In essence, this is an attempt to recreate the atmosphere of the homeland right in St. Petersburg - the so-called little Armenia. The project works with families, offering services for both adults and children, starting from the age of two.
The initiative arose from the awareness of the need to communicate with their fellow countrymen, even if they have close friends and relatives. The center strives to fill this gap by creating an environment where you can not only learn the language, but also find new acquaintances, develop creative skills and immerse yourself in the national flavor.
The center's activities are built around several key blocks, each of which has its own characteristics:
Site khatutik. ru serves as an information center for all these activities. He not only lists the services, but also introduces the team. The Our Team page presents biographies of specialists: from the head of the ethnocenter, who graduated from Yerevan University, to a photographer born in 2000, and a presenter of culinary master classes from St. Petersburg.
An interesting detail is the presence of a branch in Armenia, which is called Bari Khatutik. The site also has sections with news, a photo gallery and a library, which indicates the desire to create a full-fledged digital environment around the project.
The content pays a lot of attention to methodology. The authors emphasize the use of proprietary communicative and gaming techniques, combining traditional approaches with non-standard exercises for the development of logic and memory. George Byron's quote about the Armenian language as the language of the gods is used as a philosophical justification for the importance of studying culture.
The ethnocenter is located at: Baskov Lane, building 5, St. Petersburg. Email office@khatutik is available for communication. ru and phones +7(812)9870034, +7(953)3573555. The website also lists the number +79522870034.
The center's programs are designed for children from 2 years old. There are separate courses for the age groups 23 years, 45 years and 67 years.
Yes, the ethnocenter conducts both group classes with a regular schedule and individual lessons with a flexible training plan.
Renting a children's Taraz costs from 2000 rubles, an adult - from 3500 rubles for three days. Each next day adds 500 rubles. Upon receipt, a deposit of 3,000 rubles is required.
In addition to the main office in St. Petersburg, there is a Bari Khatutik branch in Armenia.
Yes, Armenian language lessons are provided for both children and adults. There are also cooking classes and other activities for the whole family.
