kinanet.livejournal.com is a personal online platform dedicated to in-depth analysis and systematization of world cinema over a fifty-year period. The site is owned by the author known as There is no movie!, which represents one of the largest film criticism and research initiatives on the Russian-language Internet.

History of the project
The idea of creating an encyclopedia was born as preparation for the fiftieth anniversary of the author's film criticism. Active work on the book lasted almost the entire year of 2022 and eight months of 2023. The author not only supplemented previously published materials from the two-volume “3500”, but also included 1,500 new reviews written over the past 15 years, improving the editorial structure of each text.
Given the huge volume (more than 7,700 pages), a printed publication turned out to be impossible, so the project exists exclusively in electronic form.
