About the project
EIOS SSAU is an electronic information and educational environment of the Stavropol State Agrarian University. The project was created to digitalize the educational process and simplify interaction between students, teachers and administration. The main goal of the system is to make access to educational information as convenient as possible, regardless of what device the user uses to access the site.
Main directions
The platform combines several key blocks that cover the needs of all participants in the educational process. For students, an electronic portfolio has been implemented here, where you can record your achievements in studies and science. The system allows you to check the correctness of the rating, see grades and retakes, and also generate a summary sheet based on the results of the session. An important element is the electronic grade book and class schedule, which is available both for study groups and for individual teachers or classrooms.
Employees and teachers have access to wider functionality. They can manage electronic statements, track their completion statistics, and find lists of unclosed documents in their department. Information about the student population is also available, which helps administrators control the educational process. The system has 6 faculties and 22 departments, uniting 557 educational groups.
Features of the site
One of the main features of the project was adaptive design. Now the interface is equally convenient on computers, tablets and smartphones. The updated appearance of most sections includes filters that significantly speed up the search for the necessary information. Users can add their schedule to favorites so that it is always at hand.
The site provides a complete archive of data: a catalog of electronic statements for all academic years and working curricula for the entire period of study. This eliminates the need to look for paper copies or contact the dean’s office for certificates. In addition, the portal has a section with contacts of departments and dean’s offices, including telephone numbers and classroom numbers.
