maximsjaber Magazine. livejournal. com is like a window into the inner world of one guy who thinks out loud. There are no masks, no templates, only living thoughts. Living breath, so to speak. He writes about cinema, sometimes about football, and in general about everything in the world - from zombies to how strange it can be when you are no longer young, but at the same time you still feel younger than your age.
Blog topic? Just life. But presented harshly. Not sour, but not churningly joyful either. This is not a promotional leaflet, but I liked it and recommend it. There are reviews here that look like a personal letter to a friend, where the author says: well, I would say this, and I’m not even sure if he’s saying it correctly, but he wants to share his opinion.
He loves movies. Yes, a lot of films. From Godzilla without Godzilla to Lucy, from zombie beavers to Jack Ryan against the balalaika. And yes, all these names are written with an obvious dose of humor, almost like a joke inside the phrase itself. Such names are not an accident. This is his style. He is not afraid to be funny, even if someone says that it is not serious. Why be serious if you can say it differently?
Interestingly, the blog looks like it was written in 2037. Last post date: December 2037. Is this weird? May be. Or is it just part of the image. After all, if he really is there, in the future, then why shouldn’t he live in his own time?
He writes: This is my understanding of the world. And frankly, you'd think that's exactly what it is. There is no lie here, but there is no idealization either. There is a shadow of doubt, there is a joke about the processed foods that we eat every day. It’s also a direct talk about how he feels getting older, even if he’s not sure how old he is.
The site is working. Yes, everything seems to be fine. No placeholders, no this domain is sold. He has a friend policy, statistics, advertising - everything is like a living person on LiveJournal. He shares, comments, asks others to write. He is waiting for feedback. Waiting for someone to return. As if he knows that the Internet is not only numbers, but also people.
This is Maxim Syaber’s personal blog, where he shares his thoughts about cinema, TV series, life and in general how he perceives the world around him. There are a lot of reviews, audio recordings and just thoughts.
Yes, judging by the dates of his last entries, he is actively writing - for example, in December 2037 he published a new note. It is clear that the blog is alive.
The author offers to add him to Facebook and Twitter, but there are no direct contacts - email or phone. They write only through social networks.
Informal texts about films: from Godzilla to Lucy, with humor, sometimes with criticism, sometimes just to share feelings. Not academic, but as if between friends.
Perhaps this is part of the style of the blog. The last post is dated December 2037, although at the time of writing this is the future. Maybe it's a metaphor or a joke. But the site works fine.
