About the project

Medikit is a Ukrainian service for online consultations with doctors. The project has been running for five years and positions itself as an accredited medical information system in the state enterprise eHealth, that is, in the electronic health care system of Ukraine. During this time, the platform was chosen by more than 200 thousand clients.

The site allows you to get advice from a specialist from anywhere in the world, make an appointment or call a doctor at home. The main idea of ​​the service is to provide access to qualified doctors without the need for long waits in queues.

Main directions

The platform brings together doctors of 70 different specializations. The staff includes general practitioners, pediatricians, gynecologists, urologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, dermatologists, allergists and surgeons. The remaining 60 directions are also presented.

An important difference between the project is that there are no interns. Consultations are provided only by experienced doctors with at least five years of experience in public or private medical institutions. Moreover, 80 specialists have more than 15 years of experience. A total of 283 certified doctors are registered on the site.

In addition to one-time consultations, Medikit offers the Personal Health Insurance service. This is an all-inclusive package, which includes a personal doctor who knows your medical history, unlimited access to 247 specialists, an in-depth health analysis (check-up) and even free laboratory tests - four tests per year, including a general blood and urine test.

In emergency cases, the insurance covers a call to a private ambulance and hospital stay in a private clinic.

Features of the site

The consultation process is simple: the user briefly describes the symptoms, and after a few minutes a competent doctor connects to him. Communication takes place directly in the browser or via Viber. The result is a clear treatment plan, an electronic prescription for medications or a referral for further examination. The doctor remains in touch with the patient even after the appointment for clarification questions.

Data security here is at a high level. All servers have a certificate for a comprehensive information security system from the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine. The correspondence history is strictly encrypted and is available only to the patient and the doctor.

The selection of doctors is strict: they check diplomas, certificates, experience, reviews from previous places of work. The candidacy is approved by the doctor of medical sciences and the director of medical quality of the company. As a result, 97 clients rate the quality of services as five out of five.

Payment is made through the UAPAY system, which is licensed by the National Bank of Ukraine and complies with the international PCI DSS standard.
