The website mmro.ru is dedicated to the All-Russian conference Mathematical Methods of Pattern Recognition (MMRO) - one of the key scientific events in the field of data mining in Russia. The conference is held every two years and is the most representative forum in the country on this topic.
The MMRO conference brings together scientists, researchers and specialists from various fields working on problems of processing and analyzing complex data using mathematical models. It covers both fundamental theoretical research and practical applications in the fields of computer vision, signal processing, biometrics, medical diagnostics, hyperspectral imaging and artificial intelligence.
In 2025, MMRO-2025 will take place, which will be held in the main building of the Murom Institute of VlSU at the address: Orlovskaya St., 23. The organizing committee of the conference provided the participants with special accommodation conditions - 10% discount in the X.ROOM hotel and the Svyatogor hotel. To receive a discount, you must submit an application to the organizing committee, book a room yourself and inform about the availability of a discount upon check-in. Participants who have entered into individual contracts with the organizers must agree on the cost of accommodation separately.
In 2025, the conference program received a new direction - “modern problems of semantic data analysis”. This decision was made in recognition of the merits of Professor Vladimir Alekseevich Serebryakov, who made a significant contribution to the development of data mining.
Traditional sections of the conference cover the following areas:
The materials of MMRO-2023 were published in a special issue of the journal Pattern Recognition and Image Analysis (PRIA), Volume 34, No. 4, 2024. The publication presents both plenary presentations and scientific articles on current topics: from neuromorphic image encoding to graph convolutional networks for segmenting buildings on aerial photographs.
The most convenient way to get to Murom from Moscow is by train. Direct trains from Moscow to Murom take 4–5 hours. Trains from Nizhny Novgorod (the airport closest to Murom) are rare. An alternative is a bus, which will take you 2.5–3 hours. A route through Vladimir is also possible: the Moscow-Nizhny Novgorod high-speed train stops in Vladimir, from where you can get to Murom by bus in 2.5 hours. There are direct trains from St. Petersburg, Yoshkar-Ola and Omsk.
MMRO-2025 will be held in August 2025. Specific dates are indicated in the “Important Dates” section on the website mmro.ru.
