The Museum of Moscow is the main city museum of the capital of Russia, located at: Zubovsky Boulevard, 2. This institution combines archival collections, exhibition spaces, educational programs and unique exhibitions dedicated to the history, architecture, life and culture of the city from ancient times to the present day.

The Museum of Moscow is a center for the preservation and popularization of urban heritage. He is engaged in research and presentation of the life of Muscovites of different eras, from the first Dyakovo settlements to the beginning of the Great Patriotic War. Among the key departments of the museum are the Moscow Archeology Museum, the Lefortovo History Museum, the Gilyarovsky Center, the Garden Ring Museum, the Zelenograd Museum, the Armorial Hall of the City of Moscow and the Name Library Dobrolyubova. Current exhibitions and expositions

History of Moscow is the main exhibition of the museum, telling about the development of the city, its architecture, culture and everyday life. The exhibition is open every day except Monday.

• The August Master of Moscow - an exhibition dedicated to Grand Duke Sergei Alexandrovich, Governor General of Moscow, military commander and benefactor (August 1 - September 26).
• Moscow without suburbs. Favoritesis a project that combines the best scenes from previous exhibitions and street installations in the capital’s parks (May 20 - September 30).

The Museum actively holds public events, lectures and educational events:

• Mosvintage Festival (September 19–21, 12:00–21:00) - a unique event with vintage exhibits, antiques and handicrafts.
• Moscow studies lecture hall. Architecture(September 19 - November 13, 19:00) - a series of lectures on the history of Moscow architecture.
• Museum Mediation School - applications are accepted until September 20. A program for those interested in museums, inclusion and education.
• Super guide. Gilyarovsky's Moscowis an educational intensive course for guides and anyone interested in the work of the Moscow everyday writer of the early 20th century.
• Conference “Museum in the city - city in the museum 2025” - X scientific and practical conference with the theme “territory of impressions vs space of museum knowledge” (accepting applications until October 26).

The museum offers both internal and city tours. In particular:

• Excursion to the “History of Moscow” exhibition (September 21–28) - a detailed immersion into the history of the city.
