About the project
Website old. memory45. su is an information center for the federal project Without a statute of limitations. The main goal of the initiative is to preserve the historical memory of the tragedy of the civilian population of the USSR, who became victims of war crimes by the Nazis and their accomplices during the Great Patriotic War. The project does not just record facts, but actively works on their educational processing.
The initiative is being implemented by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. A specific action plan has been developed for the period 2021-2023. Organizational, scientific and methodological support is provided by the Moscow Pedagogical State University (MPGU), which acts as the base organization.
Main directions
The project has long outgrown the scope of one event. If earlier the focus was on essays, now it is a comprehensive system that includes several large competitions and festivals:
- All-Russian essay competition Without statute of limitations. Implemented from the 2019-2020 academic year. This is a classic platform for expressing the thoughts of schoolchildren and secondary vocational students.
- All-Russian competition of research projects. Added to the project in the 2021-2022 academic year. Focused on working with facts and deep analysis.
- All-Russian festival of museum exhibitions of educational organizations. Also launched in 2021. Helps schools and colleges create quality museum projects.
- Festival on film pedagogy Memory Tape. A separate area where participants present methodological developments. For example, in 2024, 238 works were received from 30 regions, and 38 teams became finalists.
Particular attention is paid to the international scale. On November 1, the International Essay Competition starts, where students of 511 classes and students of secondary vocational education are invited. The competition takes place in four stages, starting at the school level.
