About the project

On the persmed platform. elpub. ru posted scientific peer-reviewed journal Russian Journal of Personalized Medicine. The publication appeared in 2021, it was initiated by Russian scientists and doctors from the world-class Scientific Center. This center includes the National Medical Research Center named after V. A. Almazov and the Institute of Experimental Medicine.

The editor-in-chief of the journal was Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences E.V. Shlyakhto, who is also the General Director of the National Medical Research Center named after. V. A. Almazova. The main goal of the project is to give scientists the opportunity to quickly share research results with the professional community. The journal has two ISSNs: 2782-3806 for the print version and 2782-3814 for the online version.

Main directions

The publication covers the most pressing issues of modern medicine related to an individual approach to treatment and diagnosis. The focus is on:

  • genetic risks and causes of diseases;
  • epigenetics and biomarkers of health and disease;
  • human microbiota and antimicrobial therapy;
  • targeted therapy of various pathologies;
  • pharmacogenetics and pharmacogenomics;
  • gene therapy and genome editing technologies;
  • application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in medicine.

The current issue (volume 5, number 2 for 2025) publishes articles on oncology and neurosurgery. For example, modern methods for diagnosing osteosarcoma of the jaw are discussed, with an emphasis on surgery and rehabilitation. Data on the effectiveness of immunotherapy in the treatment of glioblastoma of the brain are also presented.
