About the project
The Władysław Poniecki Foundation has existed for more than 30 years. Its mission is simple but ambitious: education, support and collaboration with other non-profit organizations. Initially the work was carried out in Central and Eastern Europe, but now the fund helps vulnerable groups around the world.
The name of the organization is given in honor of Vladislav Ponietsky (1880-1955). He was a civic leader and successful entrepreneur from Poland. He was active in the community before and during the post-war occupation. He placed particular emphasis on education for men and women, a tradition that the foundation continues today through mentoring and information sharing.
