About the project

Website rep-a. by is an educational resource created to prepare schoolchildren for centralized tests (CT) and centralized exam (CE) in physics. The project is supervised by Evgeniy Mozel, a teacher with more than 27 years of experience. The main goal of the site is to help students not just remember formulas, but understand physical processes, which is confirmed by the results of graduates: this year, the best scores were scored by Kostya Kudritsky (98 points), Nastya Pashkova and Igor Kudritsky (92 points each).

The resource is positioned as an alternative to standard courses, where problems from previous years are often solved haphazardly. Here the emphasis is on a deep understanding of the material and consistent study of topics.

Main directions

The content of the site is structured according to the classical sections of the school physics curriculum. This allows the student to move from simple to complex without gaps in knowledge. In the Materials section, notes and video lessons are available covering the following topics:

  • Kinematics and dynamics:scalar and vector quantities, Newton's laws, friction and elasticity forces, circular motion.
  • Conservation laws and hydrostatics:momentum, work, power, energy, pressure in liquids.
  • Molecular physics and thermodynamics:MKT, humidity, process graphs, basics of thermodynamics.
  • Electricity and magnetism:Coulomb’s law, electric field, current, magnetic field, electromagnetic induction.
  • Vibrations, waves and optics:mechanical and electromagnetic vibrations, lenses, geometric optics.
  • Quantum and nuclear physics:elements of quantum theory and nuclear physics.

The block with formulas is highlighted separately. The site has a reference book of 200 formulas, collected compactly for quick repetition before the exam.

Features of the site

The main feature of the project is the presence of interactive simulators for self-testing. This is not just static text, but tools for active work. Users can take a formula knowledge test using flipped cards or solving 12 random memory problems. Simulators are also available: optical and electrical circuits, plus links to popular Phet simulations.

The teaching methodology is based on three pillars:

  • Feedback:Homework assignments are checked at each lesson, questions are analyzed in detail.
  • Individual approach:Tasks are divided into 5 levels of difficulty so that each student works in his own growth zone. Your personal account allows you to store notes and materials.

    How is the training program structured?

    Yes, there are formula self-test simulators on the site. You can use the flip cards mode or solve 12 random problems for a quick memory test before the exam.
