About the project
On the sound-pure website. com provides information about the International Pure Sound Award. This is a unique event, which for the first time in history awards an award for the best audio recording of works of Russian academic music. The project is initiated by the Russian Musical Union with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives.
The purpose of the initiative is not just to reward the best, but to preserve the masterpieces of Russian music in their live interpretation. The project is aimed at developing the composing school and the recording industry within the country, as well as promoting Russian culture abroad.
