Sociology of Science and Technologyis a specialized scientific publication that has been operating since 2009. The founder is the Institute of History of Natural Science and Technology named after. S. I. Vavilova RAS. The journal is published quarterly, that is, four times a year, and has the status of a peer-reviewed open access publication.
The publication is officially registered (PI FS 77-75017) and included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission. This means that publications here can be taken into account when defending dissertations for the degrees of candidate and doctor of science in the areas of philosophy of science, as well as sociology. International ISSN identifiers confirm its status: 2079-0910 for print and 2414-9225 for online version.

The editorial board includes well-known Russian experts in the field of sociology and science. They select materials that are published in Russian and English. The subject of the journal is quite narrow, but deep:
