About the project

TeachMeSkills. by is a Belarusian IT school specializing in online training in programming from scratch. The project positions itself as a tool for those who want to master an in-demand profession and find a job in the technology sector. Over the 8 years of its existence, the school has graduated more than 12 thousand students.

The key idea of the course is simple: minimum theory, maximum practice. The educational process is structured in such a way that 85 of the time is allocated for solving real problems, and the remaining 15 for the theoretical basis. This allows graduates to apply for positions as junior specialists within a few months after graduation.

Main directions

The school offers training in more than 30 specializations. The list of directions includes both classical languages and modern mobile platforms:

Front End development(courses are taught by specialists from HiQo Solutions and EPAM).
Python development(teachers from Belka Games and iTechArt Group).
Java development(experts from Sam Solutions and Arateg).
iOS development(practices from Appyfurious and FJMobile).

Important detail: the teachers are current employees of large partner companies such as EPAM, Ciklum, Altoros and others. They don’t just give lectures, but share relevant experience in the industry.

Site Features

TeachMeSkills website. by contains detailed information about the educational process, but the main focus is on employment. The school has its own Career Center, which accompanies students at all stages: from choosing a direction to defending their diploma.

The conditions for receiving help in finding a job are standard: you need to complete your homework on time, defend your thesis project and have an overall academic progress of at least 70. In this case, the student is helped to create a resume, prepare for interviews and are offered internships in partner companies.

The training format is completely online via the Zoom platform. Classes are held in real time, there is an opportunity to communicate with the group and the mentor. All materials are publicly available, and each lesson is recorded so you can review it later. Students also develop a real project, which becomes the first item in a professional portfolio.

After successfully defending your thesis project, a certificate in English is issued. It indicates the student’s data, direction of study, number of hours and a QR code for the final project. This document has weight in partner companies.

As for payment, the school offers internal installments (35 payments) or interest-free installments from partner banks for up to 18 months. A 10% discount is also available if you pay for the course in full in one payment.

FAQ

Is it possible to complete the training without a technical base?

Yes, the courses are designed for beginners. No technical background required. The school helps you choose a programming language and direction that suits your interests. A basic level of English is enough to understand the terminology.

Are there age restrictions?

There are no age restrictions. The main stream consists of students and working people from 17 to 30 years old, but there is also a category of 3040 years old. A separate line of courses is provided for teenagers 1317 years old.

How does the employment process work?

Assistance in finding a job is provided to those who complete practical tasks and have an academic record above 70. The career center helps with resumes, prepares for interviews and organizes internships in partner companies if there are vacancies.

What format of classes is used?

Training takes place online in real time via Zoom. Classes are recorded and materials are available for review. Students can study from anywhere in the world where there is Internet access.

What is issued after completing the course?

After defending the thesis project, a certificate in English is issued. It verifies the student's skills and contains a QR code for their final project. The certificate is recognized by the school's partner companies.
