About the project

Tempus et Memoriais a unique online publication for Russia, focused on complex issues of social memory, historical reflection and cultural temporality. The project positions itself as an academic platform where philosophy, history and political science intersect.

The publishing house is registered with Roskomnadzor (certificate EL FS77-79281 dated October 2020) and is included in the list of the Higher Attestation Commission (category K3). This means that publications here have legal weight: articles can be used as the basis for dissertations for the degrees of candidate and doctor of science.

Main directions

The subject matter of the magazine is strictly specialized. It does not publish entertainment materials or news of the day. The main focus is shifted to theoretical and applied research:

• Social and historical memory:how society remembers the past and constructs its images.
• Cultural temporality:perception of time in different cultural contexts.
• Philosophy and political science:analysis of these processes through the prism of the humanities.

In the current issue (volume 6, number 2 for 2025) you can already find articles on policies and practices of collective memory and working with the past for the present. The authors are researchers of different levels, from experienced scientists to young graduate students.

Features of the site

The main feature of the project is a strict scientific approach. The editors adhere to the principle of pluralism: the opinions of the authors do not always coincide with the position of the editorial board, but all materials undergo mandatory verification.

Key features of the publication:

• Double-blind reviewing:neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other’s names, which guarantees the objectivity of the assessment.
• Language freedom:The journal accepts articles in Russian and English.
• Support for science:special attention is paid to young researchers - applicants and graduate students.
• Non-commercial basis:Publications are free of charge, without charging authors.

Indexation in the RSCI has been confirmed: the impact factor for 2024 is 0.552. Online version ISSN - 2782-2087.
