The Session is an online community entirely dedicated to Irish folk music. The project positions itself as a resource for those who want to find tunes, recordings, sessions and events. The site works as a platform for interaction between musicians and fans of the genre.
Here you can play music, participate in sessions and discuss everything related to this tradition. If you're not yet a member, registering is free and only takes a couple of minutes. Additional community features are available for those already logged in.
Main directions

- Tunes - search and study of traditional compositions. For example, there is a Featured tune (reell), written after the road through the valleys in south-west Donegal.
- Recordings- the ability to view tracks and discographies of albums.
