About the project
UQMS(University of Queensland Medical Society) is the student medical society of the University of Queensland. The project positions itself as a center for uniting medical students, offering a platform for interaction, development and participation in the life of the university’s medical community.
The website contains the Latin motto iDomine nos dirigei, which emphasizes the traditional nature of the organization. The resource serves as the main information hub for community members, providing access to event schedules, news and management contact information.
Main directions
UQMS activities cover several key areas, structured by type of activity:
- Education and lectures. An important part of the program is iE. S. Meyers Memorial Lecturei is a memorial lecture, as well as the iTrephinei magazine and the iMed Revuei publication.
- Community and networking. The society brings together various interest groups: from iQueensland Medical Jazzi to iRainbow Medi and iUQMindi. The iAshintosh Incisioni and iAMSAAi areas are also actively developing.
