About the project

Higher School of Economics Preprints is a publishing project of the National Research University Higher School of Economics. The main goal of the resource is to support the principle of free access to scientific research. The project represents the university's contribution to the development of an academic environment where research results are made available without delay.

The site operates as part of the HSE Publishing House. Materials are published here in serial format. It is important to note that the work is carried out in two languages at once - Russian and English, which expands the audience and makes science more understandable for the international community.

Main directions

The project's activities are clearly structured by types of publications and release formats:

Higher School of Economics Preprint Series. The publishing house produces 20 different series. They are available both electronically and in paper form. This allows authors to choose a convenient format for distributing their works.
Preprints of the Basic Research Program. A separate direction, including 16 episodes. These materials are published exclusively in electronic form and only in English. The decision to publish is made directly by the editors of each series, which guarantees the scientific rigor of the selection.
