GraphiCon is a non-profit community that brings together specialists in the field of computer graphics, computer vision and image processing. The project positions itself as a scientific society whose mission goes beyond the simple exchange of experience. Here the tasks are set to promote the development of the industry in Russia, popularize technologies and improve the personnel training system.
The history of the community is inextricably linked with the conference of the same name. GraphiCon was created in 2010 on the basis of an annual international conference that has been held since 1991. This gives the project the status of one of the oldest and most authoritative professional associations in its niche. Particular attention is paid to connections between academic science and industry, as well as attracting young talent - undergraduate and graduate students.
The international conference GraphiCon remains the key event for the community. It covers three main technological areas:
The site acts as the main repository of the results of scientific work. Conference proceedings are regularly published in PDF collections. These materials are available for download and represent a knowledge base on current research in the field of graphics and vision.
The activities of the society are systemic in nature. In addition to hosting events, the community is engaged in creating a professional environment where theory meets practice. This allows specialists not only to share research results, but also to find common ground with industrial customers.
The resource interface is functional and aimed at a professional audience. The navigation is built around the chronology and types of materials:
The site contains a detailed archive for the period from 2011 to 2025. The user can quickly jump to materials from any specific year, which is convenient for tracking the evolution of technology in the industry.
The news section promptly informs you about the status of events. For example, after the completion of the 35th conference in Yoshkar-Ola (September-October 2025), the site immediately publishes reports and links to complete collections of proceedings. A similar structure was followed for previous years: the 34th conference was held in Omsk in 2024, and the 33rd in Moscow in 2023.
Content is updated regularly. In recent years, the active participation of different host cities has been visible, which indicates the geographical flexibility of the project. The site not only stores information, it records the current state of the Russian school of computer graphics.
The data provided does not contain direct contact information (telephone numbers, email addresses or physical addresses of the secretariat). The main entry point for connecting with the community is participation in the conference and access to scientific papers through the official portal.
This is a non-profit scientific society of specialists in computer graphics, computer vision and image processing, created in 2010 on the basis of a long-term international conference.
The 35th conference was held in Yoshkar-Ola (Mari-El Republic) from September 30 to October 2, 2025. The event was organized by a local community unit.
Full collections of proceedings are available on the website in PDF format. Archive links are posted in the news section after each event.
Main areas include the development of computer graphics algorithms, computer vision methods, and digital image processing.
