About the project
International Analyticsis a peer-reviewed scientific journal specializing in research in the field of world politics, security and scientific and technological cooperation. The publication publishes articles on regional conflicts, the role of intelligence, borders as a factor in international relations, and also analyzes the development of science in different countries of the world.
The current issue (Vol. 16, 3 for 2025) demonstrates a focus on the evolution of Russia's international interaction taking into account foreign policy factors. The journal invites authors and reviewers to collaborate, offering platforms for discussing current issues on the global agenda.
Main directions
The content of the journal covers a wide range of topics, from theoretical models to specific cases of the development of national scientific systems. The issue Volume 16, 3 (2025) presents the following key materials:
- The evolution of the Russian scientific and technical system:analysis of interaction in the field of aerospace technologies, the impact of sanctions, the transformation of cooperation after 2014 and 2022, as well as the growing role of non-state actors and BRICS.
- The concept of the Big Divide:a metaphor for the collapse of the global scientific space under the pressure of Western sanctions. The authors consider the reverse effect of sanctions on the West and the formation of competing scientific blocs within the SCO and BRICS.
- Scientific and technological ecosystems of the countries of the Global South:detailed studies of the strategies of Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Ethiopia. Particular attention is paid to issues of sovereignty, science management and adaptation to external constraints.
- French defense cooperation:examining the contradictions between openness and sovereignty in the policies of Paris, including arms exports and European integration.
- Innovative growth of India:assessment of the country’s potential, R&D problems and prospects for Russian-Indian cooperation.
- World nuclear energy:analysis of the geographical diversification of Russian projects in the field of peaceful uses of nuclear energy for the period 2018-2023.
