C40 Cities is not just a website, but a platform for leadership in the climate agenda. Here are the mayors of 97 cities who are already reducing emissions and changing the lives of 920 million people. The project has existed for 20 years and positions cities as the main engines of change. This is not a theoretical organization, but a group where results are visible on the ground.

• Justice. Climate action must be fair for all residents.

Special programs are working to achieve these goals. iC40 Acceleratorsi help mayors translate commitments into measurements and results. The 2025 report shows how this works in practice: clean air, safe streets and new jobs.

There is also a financial component. The Climate Budgeting Program helps cities plan spending to meet environmental goals. And global diplomacy allows mayors to influence global politics and finance by breaking down bureaucratic barriers.
